Battery-operated Tricycles
In 2019-20, we distributed 60 battery-operated tricycles to persons with disabilities in Gonda district of Uttar Pradesh. Selection of the beneficiaries was based on their ability and willingness to enhance their income with increased mobility provided by the tricycles.
It was found that provision of tricycles has increased income as well as confidence level of the benefiting persons with disabilities.
